1-13-2011 (clear)

This week's [clear] room is for the 2nd week in a row, an eye80 tribute, where we take a look at Li'l Kuhn's 2004 mix, "THE WAGER."

In late 2004, after mixing my 2-disc mix Phebbers 1 and 2, i bet Kuhny a cool Benjamin that he couldn't pull off an hour long trip hop mix. He sorta did it, but I ended up doing the intro for the original mix so we called it a push, and no one won. But it was must-listen-to beats that got great reviews all the way across the states...

This is my rendition of the mix, done in the EXACT order of the original, but with my own intro, and a modern take on the abilities that we DJ's technologically have now as opposed to back then, when spinning on CD's was a new phenomenom and serato was in the gestation period...

DL it ----> HERE!!!!!

Also, our guest mix of the week belongs to our homey, (who's in the funny WAGER movie spoof picture at the top of this blog) Deejay Diabolic, who came out with a new mix very recently, and they are ALWAYS hot as hell, so ya'll shouldn't even think, you should just hit this link and DL it nau...
